Talk about from feast to famine - I haven't posted in ages. Blame it on the slew of events that inevitably crop up this time of year, in my case two graduations, a wedding, and an anniversary (ours!). I'll post more when I get the chance, but I'm at work, and my new position doesn't have nearly as much down time as my old one. You'll get more, I promise. :)

According to MSN.com, Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana have signed on to play the leads in the movie version of "The Time-Traveler's Wife." I had no idea they were that far along into getting a movie version made, and I have no idea what took them so long. Still I'm nervous, I hope they don't ruin the story. I can definetely picture Eric Bana as Henry though, good casting.

I'm such a nerd.

There are few things that sicken me more than animal abuse. I just watched a news story about a cat who was rescued from a group of kids who were KICKING IT AROUND A PARKING LOT LIKE A SOCCER BALL. What the HELL is happening to humanity??? This poor harmless creature was abused for the fun of it, and I just want to go and beat the crap out of those kids. Whoever rescued the poor kitty and took him to the hospital should get a medal.

Sick. Just sick.

QUESTION FOR ONE and ALL: Do you think it will be horribly confusing for me if I take French this spring quarter and then do the Japanese summer intensive course? I want so badly to learn at least a bit of both languages, and I feel like I would be able to keep the two seperated just fine. But would this really be suicide instead?

One of the things I don't like about Washington is the issue of moldy window frames. I cleaned out a couple of the windows in our apartment this morning, they were GROSS. That's what we get for having such lovely wet weather...

Criteria for new apartment (dream list):

1/ Washer/dryer in the unit; no laundry room crap

2/ Pets okay

3/ Two bathrooms

4/ Decently new appliances

5/ Big living room

6/ Big master bedroom, smaller second bedroom (study)

7/ Big bathtub

8/ Top floor

9/ Deck

10/ On-site gym

Let's see how many things on that list we can find together.....
